1 skein Bernat Handicrafter Cotton or Approx. 20 yards medium (4) cotton yarn
Scissors
Yarn Needle
Gauge
Not necessary for this pattern.
Abbreviations
Ch – Chain
DC – Double Crochet
FPDC – Front Post Double Crochet
BPDC – Back post Double Crochet
Pattern
Ch 41
R1 – Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc across the row (39)
R2 – Ch2, Turn, (ch 2 counts as first DC), starting at second DC: *FPDC, BPDC next 3 sts* repeat from * until 1 stitch remains, DC in last stitch (39)
R3 – Ch2, Turn, (Ch2 counts as first DC), starting at second DC *BPDC into next stitch, Dc into next 3 sts, repeat from * until 1 st remain, Dc into remaining st (39)
Repeat R2 & R3 for a total of 22 rows.
Fasten off, weave in all ends.
