Hi! I have not posted in a while, I have been working on lots of projects and taking pictures, but I really need to catch up on here. One of my most recent projects has been kumihimo friendship bracelets. They are so fast and easy to make. Kumihimo is a type of braid. You can learn how to make them here, this is how I learned. I usually start out with about 13 inches of string, but this will not be enough if you do not use findings. Use extra string if you plan on braiding or knotting the ends together.
Below I have posted pictures of all the bracelets I plan on making, there are quite a few. I will also post pictures of how they turn out as I make them. These are great for kids to make at summer camps as well, you can get children to make their own wheels from cardboard.
I have bought some findings to make the bracelets look pretty when they are finished, but you can also make braids to tie the ends together or any other way you can think of. You will notice mine have different styles of connecting the ends. These are not my designs, I have left the username of designers in the pattern of each bracelet.
